Manchester City battled it out with Liverpool on Sunday at Anfield as they look to climb the premier league table.

In a thrilling match between the two powerful premier league clubs, the teams ended up sharing the spoils as both teams scored two goals each.

The first goal came when Mohamed Salah flicked the ball over João Cancelo before pushing it up the field and passing it Sadio Mane who beat Ederson with a low shot to put Liverpool in the lead on the 58th minute.

Manchester City later equalized at the 68th minute through Phil Foden who shot the ball at the bottom corner of the net after receiving a beautiful pass by Gabriel Jesus.

Liverpool then got the better of their opponent when they took back the lead on the 76th minute with probably one of the best solo goals in the premier league history as he dances through the defence before scoring with his weaker foot.

On the 80th minute of the game, Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne then equalized the score with an amazing shot that deflected Joel Matip before beating Alisson Becker.

Liverpool then had a golden opportunity to win the game at the 86th minute when Fabinho was faced with an open goal after a cross by Mohamed Salah but unfortunately his shot was saved with a tackle by Rodri who denied Liverpool the three points.

After a fantastic performance by both teams, it seems like these two clubs will be the ultimate test for other clubs trying to reach the top of the premier league table.
