Sendok Group Introduces Malaysia’s First Electric Van

CAM EC35, Malaysia’s 1st Electric Van was successfully previewed on 7th January 2022 in Genting Highlands and marks another great milestone for Sendok Group.

CAM EV is a new line up under Sendok Group, especially for Pure Electric Vehicles only. Sendok Group, headquartered in Klang has more than 40 years combined experience in the automotive industry.

“With the rapid development of the automotive industry, causing pollution air applies. Now it’s time for us to change fuel consumption from volatile gas emissions to independent smoke and noise emissions with using electric vehicles,” said Sendok Group Advisor, Dato Ir. Hj. Mohamad Dalib.

“The “Tag Line” for the Sendok Group, Drive the Change and with these changes a better yet clean yet safer future in the world,” he added.

This 100% electric van is equipped with 60kW motor (80HP) and 200Nm of torque power. With the absence of gearbox in the powertrain system, acceleration can be felt instantly with < 10s from 0 – 50km/hr.

Besides that, it is powered by 38.7kWh lithium-ion phosphate battery, the vehicle has WLTP range of 268km.

The CAM EV Electric Van

Furthermore, the van comes with an onboard charger of 6.6kw and quick charging port. Standard charging SOC 20 – 80% takes 5 hours, while SOC 0 – 100% takes 8 hours. Quick charging SOC 20 – 80% takes 80 minutes, SOC 0 – 100% takes 2.5 hours.

The EC35 is the first product under CAM EV Line Up ,and more pure electric vehicles are in the pipeline especially the commercial segment.

Sendok Group is equipped with CKD facility to assemble all kinds of vehicles including electric vehicles.

Currently, the Group’s automotive technical, development and research division are led by 2 Professional Engineer with automotive engineering practice.

CAM EV is targeted for logistic and courier company that is transiting towards clean and responsible transportation.
